Our Sports Zone Store Policies
The store policies identified on our website pertain strictly to our in-store purchases and phone in orders, and not to items purchased online through our Sportszonecanada.com shopping cart, our eBay store, or any other online avenue in which we market and sell our products or services.
Online customers should reference the specific policy pages on those sites to completely understand the stated and or implied terms and conditions of sale, warranty, return & exchange policies, shipping etc.
Sports Zone In-store Purchases Policy
Returns & Exchanges
While we always strive to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. Please note the following policy in the event that a return of merchandise is required.
- New merchandise - goods must be returned within 7 days with proof of purchase and original packaging.
- Used merchandise - All sales are final – exchanges only in some circumstances (at the discretion of Sports Zone management).
- Sale or clearance items – All sales are final – no returns, no refunds
- Custom or special orders are not returnable.
- We suggest that customers send returns via a “Signature Required” service
Warranty
- Manufactures warrant their products and not the retailer / dealer. We therefore ask customers to refer to manufacturers warranty information on their individual websites.
In most cases the following is a rule of thumb in terms of shipping costs:
Consumer to Manufacturer – consumer pays shipping
Manufacturer to consumer – manufacturer pays shipping - Wood hockey sticks and wood or composite blades are not warranted against breakage of any kind by their manufacturers.
Composite sticks and shafts have a 30-day warranty - Wire cages are not warranted against breakage or denting of any kind by their manufactures. If your cage is dented then it means the cage did the job it was designed to do.
- Goalie mask artwork is not warranted against scratching or chipping of any kind by their manufactures.
- We want our customers to know that we will do our best to look after you and always try to find a solution that is equitable for you the customer and our company.
