Sports Zone has existed as a sporting goods retailer in the Kitchener- Waterloo area for over 16 years. The business originally started out as a new & used, buy, sell and, sporting goods retailer.
Over the years, the store has evolved into the largest independent sports retailer in the area, with approximately 10,000 square feet of wall-to-wall new and used sporting goods equipment to meet your every need. With over 2 million dollars in inventory, and an approximately 8000 square feet of warehouse space next door to the store, we are able to maintain adequate stock levels in an attempt to ensure what you are looking for is available on a cash and carry basis. We stock all the major brands. Our volume purchasing power ensures that we are enjoying the same discount levels being offered to the national chain and box stores, therefore allowing us to maintain our price competitiveness for you the retail customer while maintaining a small store personalized level of service.
Purchase of Used Equipment & Trade-ins
Customers are welcome to bring in their used sports equipment as a trade-in against their purchases or as a straight out purchase if we are interested in purchasing the item that you have for sale. We do however reserve the right to reject any item at anytime as a purchase or trade-in depending on the current inventory levels of that particular item or at the discretion of our store management. Our buying and trade-in is an added value option for our customers, and under no circumstances are we under any stated or implied mandatory obligation to purchase or accept goods on trade from walk-in customers.
½ Back Jr. Skate Program
New Junior skates only; we will offer ½ the original purchase price in trade value towards the new purchase price up to a maximum of $125.00 (trade-in value only)

Used sports apparel / clothing of any kind
Used baseball equipment (we do accept used baseball gloves)

Used shoes – (other then used soccer shoes)

We at Sports Zone have made a commitment to maintain an accurate, up to date, and informative website for our customers. Our goal is provide instant online access to the products that we carry, services that we offer, pricing, product reviews, and special events dates. We plan on continually developing the site and adding assorted value added online content, services, and interactive media for our customers to use and enjoy.
For those online customers outside of the store’s geographical area, we have implemented an online shopping cart in the hopes of making your online purchase as easy, informative and pleasurable as possible.
