Brand new for 2020 is the Bauer Supreme 3S Intermediate Goalie Trapper. The 3S will be Bauer's classic 1-piece cuff design with a 75 degree closure style, and feature some key upgrades to define its spot in the new supreme lineup.
Starting off with the pocket design, the Supreme 3S trapper comes equipped with a feature previously used on the 2X line but not yet been introduced to the Supreme lineup, this is the addition of their catchlite material. Catchlite is engineered to be a material that is has flexability without sacrificing durability. It is an improvement on previous materials as the catchlite material is game ready and reduces time spent breaking in the glove. The pocket is the classic double “T” which makes for a wider pocket opening and improved puck tracking when freezing the puck or looking though the pocket.
In terms of stapping, the 3S is takes upon the previous generation. It includes nylon wrist straps, velcro straps for the backhand and fingers. The straps on the trapper allow for a customizable fit to keep the trapper connnected to the hand and reduce unwanted movement.
The newly designed cuff on the 3S trapper is a large area of improvement as Bauer has added their Curv composite to the cuff. This popular cuff is was features on the 2X Pro glove but is completely new to the supreme family. The Curv composite cuff will provide additional protection and better durability for glove posture.
