Our protective equipment engineers have pored over every detail of this helmet, inside and out, to ensure its worthy of the very best on the field. This is a helmet built by Easton's Trident Protection System, a three-pronged approach to delivering better head protection. To start, virtual testing techniques helped us identify the optimal thickness for every part of the helmet exterior, so it gives you more protection where you need it without adding extra weight to your head. The use of viscoelastic foam — similar to the material found in high-impact football helmets — is also used in differing densities throughout the helmet for added coverage. And, to ensure comfort, the Pro Max's "halo" fit accomadates a wide range of head sizes without being too loose or too tight on virtually anybody.
