The classic fit profile the Nexus name has become synonymous with features a traditional “Deep-V” heel shape, and is Bauer’s deepest and widest fit profile amongst all its lines. The N9000 offers a wide volume fit from toe to heel with the deepest heel pocket from Bauer to date. With the 3-D Curve composite upper and this fit profile, the result is a boot that provides a comfortable, secure heel lock, while allowing for better wrap along the top of the foot. This fit and the superior heat molding properties of Curv composite amounts to a boot that is both comfortable right out of the box, and is very accommodating to players with higher volume feet.

The N9000 features a 3-piece, thick felt 48 oz. tongue with a molded metatarsal guard that provides comfort and protection whether you're blocking shots or preventing unwanted lace bite. The N9000 will also feature a Hydra Max 2 Mesh liner which helps wick away moisture and dries quickly, prolonging the life of the skates. Add Bauer’s Form Fit+ moisture wicking footbed complete with added grip and functions as a heel stabilizer so that you have the total package of comfort and performance.

The Tuuk Lightspeed Edge holder has established itself as a game changer, and makes its return in the Nexus line. This holder not only provides an added three millimeters of height, allowing for a more aggressive angle of attack, but also allows players to switch out the LS3 EDGE runners (found on the Nexus N9000) on the fly.
