The reverse side of the pad features a moderately loose leg channel, providing good control of the pad while still allowing the pad to rotate freely into butterfly. Additionally, the knee landing area utilizes a specially formulated EVA comfort foam in the knee landing for long ice sessions. Strapping wise, the NXG pad offers ultimate versatility with all leather adjustable strapping.

A newly redesigned boot break allows for greater flexibility and mobility of the goalie's skate, offering maximum power from pushes while in butterfly. A perfect seal to the ice is achieved through the TOTALseal knee construction, where the landing area is slightly recessed from the medial edge, creating a more solid seal on the ice.
