BAUER S21 VAPOR 3X SENIOR HOCKEY SKATES

New for 2021 are the Bauer Vapor 3X Senior Hockey Skates! The Vapor 3X’s replace the past Vapor 2X model for the S21 lineup. The 3X’s offer improvements in weight and performance with many new key features like Bauer’s FlexComp Quarter Package, Pro Stock Tongue, and LS+ Steel. 

Starting from bottom up, the 3X’s come with Bauer’s Tuuk Lightspeed Edge and LS+ Runners. These performance steel blades improve the overall weight of the skates and will increase the speed and ice agility of the skater. Underneath the boot, you’ll find the Digi Comp Outsole which provides the 3X’s with improved energy transfer and balance. Moving up the boot, a 3D Lasted Flex Comp Quarter Package is found. This Quarter is composed of composite material engineered to optimize the Vapor flex profile and increase overall agility. Above this quarter is the Thermoformable Anaform Upper to provide the player with the perfect fit and lock into the skates. Also, Bauer’s Asymmetrical Toe Cap, Comfort Edge, and Classic Tendon Guard are outfitted on the 3X’s. 

Moving inside the 3X’s, there are a range of interior features that provide a great fit and feel. First, a 40oz Felt Tongue protects and secures your foot, and even has an interior liner for comfort. This Hydrophobic Liner stretches the inside of the skates and is great in terms of comfort and moisture wicking ability. Memory foam ankle padding improves an already comfortable, well-fitting skate and protects from shots. Lastly, a Form Fit+ Footbed rests at the bottom of the 3X’s, providing foot support and balance.
