BAUER S21 VAPOR HYPERLITE PRO SENIOR GOALIE PADS

New for 2021 are the Bauer Vapor Hyperlite Pro Senior Goalie Leg Pads. The Hyperlite model replaces the previous 2X Pro Leg Pads while bringing new advancements in terms of stability, fit, and rebound velocity to produce Bauer’s most advanced Vapor pad yet.

Beginning with the front of the pads, the new Rebound Boost Core is found inside the Hyperlites. This core is designed to produce high velocity rebounds and reduce the amount of easy chances in the crease. The flex profile of this core utilizes classic Vapor flexibility with above and below knee breaks, and now features a softer thigh rise. Working together with this profile is the new 110 Free-Flex Boot. This boot is more flat and soft than that of the 2X Pro’s. This new profile and boot design promotes a deep, explosive stance and improved five hole coverage. Additionally, Curv Composite is found in the thigh rise segment of the core to improve protection with this softer profile. The Hyperlites are wrapped in C.O.R Tech Plus External Material to provide hyper speed and great durability.

Moving onto the back of the pad, the new Hyperlites are outfitted with the Stabiliflex Knee Block with Connekt+ Grip and an Adjustable Knee Wing. This is a spinoff of Bauer’s recently developed Stabilislide Knee Block featured on the Ultrasonic model. The Stabiliflex design is 30% lighter and provides 25% more flexibility compared to Stabilislide from Supreme, and improved landing grip is found as well. Overall, this provides a goaltender with an improved butterfly seal and movement down low on the ice. A new Balance Plate Calf Pillow is used on the Hyperlites which helps to align the goalkeeper's ankle with their knee to increase stability and ice seal in the butterfly. An Aerolite Calf Wrap with Abrasion Resistant Material is found on the Hyperlites for improved weight reduction and durability. Bauer’s Tune Fit 2.0 Strapping System is used on the Hyperlites as an improved version of the regular Tune Fit Strapping. The 2.0 System features a Y-shaped calf strap for an even better lock suitable to the new Vapor flex structure.
