CCM SUPER TACKS AS2 PRO GRIP INTERMEDIATE HOCKEY STICK

Brand new for this season is CCM's latest model in their mid-kick stick line, with the introduction of the CCM Super Tacks AS2 Pro Intermediate Ice Hockey Stick!

Analyzed the data found at the CCM Shooting Performance Lab, CCM has optimized the position of the soft flex zone within the shaft, and improved the transition to the stiff taper zone, resulting in improved shot power and accuracy. The soft mid-section of the Super Tacks AS2 Pro Hockey Stick allows for players to get a longer loading time on their shots, thus storing more energy, resulting in more power. This is appropriately named the “max-loading mid-kick” flex profile.

Further assisting in getting the puck off with maximum power is CCM’s newest blade, the ACU4 XX-Stiff Blade. Featuring a tactile surface, this blade provides players with great feel and control during stickhandling and shooting. The heel and toe areas have also been reinforced, providing great durability.

The reoptimized taper at the bottom third of the Super Tacks AS2 Pro Hockey Stick has created a more balanced feel, providing greater stability and control when leaning into heavy shots like slap shots! This redesigned shape has also helped reduce the overall weight of the stick by 10 grams, resulting in an incredibly balanced stick with unmatched feel.

Moving to the interior of the Super Tacks AS2 Pro Hockey Stick, it is built with CCM’s Sigmatex material. This is a high-performance carbon fiber fabric throughout the entirety of the shaft that is specifically weaved together to excel in strength and durability. Paired with the Sigmatex Technology is the X-Flow Technology within the shaft. This improved molding process eliminates excess resin and imperfections, improving shaft quality and consistency, while helping reduce the weight of the stick by 10 grams.
