The Vaughn Velocity VX1 Pro Carbon Leg Pads are purpose-built for elite-level goaltenders who demand a traditional feel with modern tech. Handcrafted in Canada, the VX1 Pro Carbon uses a Pure Carbon insert running tip-to-toe for added structure, improved rebound control, and lightweight responsiveness.
This pad embraces the legacy of Vaughn’s Velocity line, offering a soft, flexible core with a redesigned pre-curved profile and streamlined outer roll. The thinner upper thigh and firmer face deliver better seal, lively rebounds, and smoother movements in the butterfly. QuickSlide technology under the landing surface dramatically enhances slideability, while the reengineered calf wrap and RRC+ rotation strap ensure a snug fit and seamless leg rotation.
Internally, carbon layers reinforce the pad while keeping a soft and reactive feel. A widened knee cradle, removable outer knee wing, and customizable components allow goalies to dial in their fit.
