CCM SUPERTACKS AS1 GRIP SENIOR HOCKEY STICK
The new Super Tacks AS1 pushes the boundaries of performance and will become the new standard for Mid-Kick point sticks. The stiffness profile has been revisited to maximize loading while providing great stability and control. Not only can players benefit from a great loading stick, it also feels better than ever. The new X-Flow technology offers a 10g weight reduction and helps improve fiber compaction, increasing stick durability.
New for 2018 is CCM’s latest iteration of the Tacks stick line, the Super Tacks AS1 Hockey Stick! Boasting features such as X-Flow Technology and the Sigmatex build construction, the Super Tacks AS1 Stick pushes the boundaries of maximum performance!
Starting off with the construction, the Super Tacks AS1 Hockey Stick features CCM’s popular Sigmatex material! This high-tension weaving process allows the AS1 Hockey Stick to remain very lightweight, while also providing a strong and durable feel.
Paired with the Sigmatex Technology is the X-Flow Technology within the shaft. This improved molding process provides higher quality and consistency throughout the shaft! Excess resin and voids are removed within the shaft, improving stick durability as well as reducing the overall weight of the stick.
The Super Tacks AS1 Hockey Stick features a new maximum loading mid-kick point! The lower half of the stick has a stiff flex, and the mid-section has a softer flex, followed by an extra-stiff blade. This combination allows for a longer loading period, thus increasing the amount of energy stored, helping generate maximum power! The stiff taper, followed by the extra-stiff blade, helps improve stability and control on big slap shots and snapshots.
Moving to the bottom of the stick, the Super Tacks AS1 Hockey Stick features the ACU3 blade. This extra-stiff and lightweight construction provides players with unmatched puck feel and control. This extra-stiff blade paired with the stiff taper of the lower half of the shaft helps reduce the amount of rotation created within the shaft during powerful slapshots!
