The 2024 CCM Tacks line of protective equipment does just that, especially in the top-of-the-line models, with the help of great technologies and innovations.
- One such feature is D3O Zero material. This technology offers a lightweight feel that provides terrific protection against impacts of all kinds on the ice. CCM uses D3O Zero in key areas that require the highest degree of protection and comfort.
- In the XF Pro elbow pad, D3O is combined with an anatomical JDP cap, which helps to disperse the force of impact away from the elbow. In the forearm, D3O is used with a pro-level injection mold for maximum coverage and durable protection.
- CCM uses a 2-piece Flex Motion construction with extended coverage for bicep protection. This is a dual layered bicep that will optimize mobility in the upper arm, with added air channels to increase airflow during play.
- For the attachment system, the XF Pro includes a bicep strap, triple pull middle lock strap and wrap around forearm strap. This 360-degree surround strap system is designed to secure the elbow pad in place while maintaining an excellent level of comfort and mobility. With three high-quality straps, this pad will move as you do and stay locked in place.
