REEBOK PREMIER XLT GOALIE PADS

New for 2014, is the new Premier XLT goalie pads. These pads feature a new crosslink technology internal foam that will give goalies a bigger rebound which allows for a longer recovery time. The inside calf and knee landing pads on the XLT now have a bindless perimeter. This not only aids in the goalies ability to slide laterally but also prevents snow build up in the binding crevases and creates a true seal to the ice. In addition, the lower portion of the inside calf wrap has been covered in jenpro to prevent wear.

The XLT features a new thigh guard that is less bulky than the previous guard found on the Premier 4. You will find the strapping on the XLT is the same as found on  previous models; 1 leather boot, 2 leather calf, and two leather adjustable top straps (loose fit 2 strap). The shallow open leg channel and open knee craddle gives the pad a quick rotation. The open knee craddle also allows the goalie to wear bigger knee guards without restriction.
