BAUER S18 VAPOR 1X LITE GRIP INTERMEDIATE HOCKEY STICK

The New Bauer Vapor 1X Lite continues Bauer’s trend of bringing true innovation to their premier sticks. The 1X Lite continues to improve on the previous QRT technology, while introducing its ACL (Advanced Carbon Layering) blade technology. These improvements from the ’16 model help deliver a lighter, stronger, and more responsive stick designed for a quick release off the blade.

The 1x Lite is still constructed using is Monocomp technology for a true 1-piece stick that improves balance and maximizes energy transfer. The shaft is also constructing using TeXtreme technology for a more durable and lightweight shaft. The eLASTech resin system keeps small cracks from spreading when they occur resulting in a longer stick life. The Aero-Sense blade core continues to dampen vibration and improve durability.

Bauer unleashes its upgraded QRT Plus shot technology in the 1X Lite. The hosel opens 20% less than the previous QRT, resulting in a more versatile Vapor stick. The QRT plus improves performance during one timers, slap shots, and hard passes while still keeping the quick release the Vapor line is known for.

New for the 1X Lite is the ACL (Advanced Carbon Layering) blade. This innovative design uses 13% thinner carbon fibers at different angles to create a stronger more responsive blade. The blade is 7% lighter with an 11% improvement in taper recoil. This benefits the player with quicker stickhandling movement and an even quicker release. The blade is wrapped with TeXtreme for added durability and weight reduction.

Advanced Carbon Layering (ACL) is a new, innovative design using thinner, stronger internal carbon fiber layers in our blade, which has helped us create our lightest stick ever — 15 grams lighter than the previous 1X.

11% FASTER RELEASE

With the weight savings provided by ACL technology, the 2017 VAPOR 1X Lite delivers an 11% improvement in taper recoil — which means an 11% faster release for you, and 11% less time for goalies to react to your shot.

20% INCREASED BLADE STABILITY

The 2017 VAPOR 1X Lite features new QRT+ technology, which uses extra carbon fiber layers to reinforce the taper zone where the shaft becomes the blade. The result is 20% increased blade stability from the previous 1X stick, giving you better one-timers and pass control.
